Have You Been Hacked with Ransomware - We can Recover Your Data

The ransomware virus is a new and advanced type of computer virus that mainly spreads in the form of mail, program Trojans, and web pages. The virus is terrible and extremely harmful. It uses various encryption algorithms to infect, delete, and encrypt files.

The ransomware transmits in three major ways: vulnerability, mail, and advertising. Once your computer and any other storage device are infected by a ransomware virus, like the notorious ones Locky, Zcrypt, CryptoLocker, CryptWall, TorrentLocker, etc., you can't access the infected files or system until you pay the ransom.

We advise you not to pay the ransom. Moreover, even if you have made the payment, your data may not be intact like before, and you may face a greater data risk. Hence, after the infection, you can try some ways to recover ransomware-encrypted files quickly. In the following parts, we will show you a few practical methods to recover data.

Ransomware is malware that threatens to infect your computer, redirect your web browser, or delete your files if you don't comply. Ransomware is also known as crypto virus or ransomware. Most ransomware comes in the form of an email attachment containing a malicious link that will trick you into opening it. When you click on that link, you're opening an attachment from an email virus instead of the program.

Ransomware is one of the most common forms of cybercrime today. Despite the increase in the number of incidents, this malicious software has not grown in popularity significantly as other types of malware have. Loss of data has been estimated to cost 75 million dollars a day, adding up to a staggering $900 billion a year in global losses.

There are many different types of ransomware, such as Cryptolocker, CryptoWall, and Locky. Earlier this month, we observed the Locky ransomware targeting users on Facebook and Twitter. Locky typically holds users' ransom by locking their files and not allowing them to access them until they pay a ransom to the cyber-criminals. Locky is also known for using scare tactics, such as the message, "If you do not pay, then we will send your files to your email automatically."

Locky utilises autorun, a malicious installation file that installs itself on a victim's system when the file is executed. Autoruns are often spread through email or social media sites and are linked to websites that are used for phishing or social engineering. To protect yourself, avoid clicking links in unsolicited emails, and instead type the URL into your web browser.

To decrypt your files, you need to purchase the decryption key. Locky is considered one of the most prevalent forms of cybercrime today. This is because it is so powerful, easy to use, and profitable-and it typically goes undetected until it is too late.

DATA RECOVERY ASSESSMENT COSTS

Precision Data Recovery Engineers use Proprietary File Recovery Software, which uses complex algorithms that look at pieces of information that are left on the media shadow area in order to locate where the file was physically stored. If it finds correctly, the data can be retrieved.

The assessment cost for deleted data recovery is an initial upfront $149 to cover the engineers' time to run forensic tools on the device in order to retrieve a data image which may result in some, all or none of your data. A successful Data Recovery will cost anywhere between $195 to $495 depending on the amount of data and the complexity of rebuilding the image in case of data corruption.

Due to our upfront transparent approach, we like to make our customers aware that they only proceed if the information required is critical there are no guarantees with Deleted Data Recovery.
